Small-Group Language Courses That Keep Lessons Active

Slice of Language offers small-group language courses for adult beginners, continuing learners, and friends or community groups. Each term course runs for 10 weeks with two lessons per week, and groups are kept to 4 to 8 participants so everyone has room to speak and ask questions.

Before enrolment, we complete level screening and match the group and timetable to the course format. This helps shape a realistic lesson plan and keeps the course focused on the starting level, learning needs, and available time of the participants.

Placement first, then a clear group plan.

Learn in a compact group with steady guidance, scheduled lessons, and practical practice that fits real life.

The course path may include beginner, elementary, intermediate, conversation, intensive, or private group options. During the term, learners work through guided practice, course materials, and preparation tasks, with periodic progress summaries to show what has been covered and what to practise next.

Progress depends on the starting level, attendance, independent practice, learning needs, and course duration. We do not promise a fixed proficiency outcome, but we do aim to make the learning process structured, clear, and manageable.
